information on any schools from the 1850s through the mid 1900s. If

The categories are :
- Gone- Schools which have been razed,
burned down or disappeared for other reasons.
- Abandoned- Schools which are closed
and not used for any other purpose
- Endangered- Schools which are closing
soon or have recently closed and likely to become abandoned or
razed
- Retired- Schools which are not used as
public classroom buildings but serve in some other capacity
(apartments, offices, etc)
- Functional- Schools still in use as
classroom buildings
