MASK AND SABRE
"The Mask and Sabre dramatic club under the experienced leadership of Miss
Helen Langworthy had a very profitable year.
"The purpose of Mask and Sabre is to promote a finer and deeper
understanding and appreciation of drama, and to develop the abilities of
students in acting.
"The first activity for the year was a program of three one act plays,
given in assembly on December 11 (1936). 'The Goose Hangs High,' a play in
three acts, by Lewis Beach was a high light in the winter quarter when it was
produced by the group. Various other plays were given during the spring
quarter. . . .
"The success of the Mask and Sabre club this year has been due to the
excellent cooperation given the officers by the entire membership."
